Friday December 2nd, 2011

When we first knew we were coming to France, we decided to plan weekends all over France and Europe. Since the boundary between countries is now obsolete, we thought should take this advantage we have and try to visit as many areas as possible.

So far this hasn’t happened yet; we had 1 day in Calais (France), 1 day in Brussels (Belgium), but that’s it. All the other weekends we’ve been planning were to Paris.

Until today 🙂

We’re leaving to Strasbourg in about an hour, to spend the week-end in the Magical Christmas Fair they do there. It seems this is the best one done in France, and one of the best in Europe; so we’re going there to find out if it’s true 😛

We’re packing now, leaving in a bit (the road should take about 5 hours). I do not think I will be able to speak to you during the week end, I don’t think we have internet in the hotel. But anyway, stay tuned for the lovely pictures and great stories I will prepare for you on Sunday night 🙂

In the mean time, I will leave you with this delicious meal we had yesterday.

What's the point of living in a country if you're not going to eat what they do 🙂

Have a nice week-end!

  4. I’m so jealous! Strasbourg is one of the most beautiful cities of France and is very very special! Its Chrismas Tree is very famous and is always soo gorgeous!
You should definitely enjoy traveling through Europe. You drive for a few hours and you end up in a place with a different language, a different culture, food, architecture 🙂

    • It is a beatiful city and it was a great week end, just keep reading my blog and you will find out how the Chirstmas tree for this year looked like 🙂
I advise you to go there in December some day…it’s amazing!
