Iโ€™m back!! I really missed this blog, missed telling you the story of my life and boring you with my daily details ๐Ÿ™‚

As I told you before I did not have access to the internet all the time while we were in Lebanon, so I could not bore you then ๐Ÿ˜› But I never stopped writing, so here is a text I wrote two weeks ago.

You (or the people around us) might not notice it, but these 5 months spent in France have changed us a lot; maybe not mentally but definitely physically.

First of all our body is now used to a cold weather, so when Lebanese are cold, we’re feeling a bit chilly. Itโ€™s weird, but itโ€™s as if our body was transformed into a cold thermos, it saved all the cool temperatures inside until we got to Beirut.

Second, because I’m used to walking and not driving, parking the car anywhere and going by foot seems like a better idea than spending the time in traffic and arriving late and stressed out to the appointment.

You have to know something very important about walking in Beirut: when you’re walking in the streets of Beirut, two things might happen: first of all people will look at you with an air that says “what’s wrong with this lady? She’s walking? Hasn’t she heard of the new invention called cars?”. Second, the drivers will not notice you; they are not used to the fact of people walking, so for them all the roads are dedicated to their cars (this is why before you go on this adventure you should make sure your will is ready :P)

Also while in Beirut, I took a few pictures of the shopsโ€™ display windows decorations; what do you think, which country does it better, France or Lebanon?

See you tomorrow!
