Sunday March 4th, 2012

Today is the grandmothers’ day in France; it’s the celebrated on the first Sunday of the month of March.

Either they ran out of ideas for special days so they created one for the grandma’s, or they found that old people die alone in a lot of cases in France, so they thought that creating a special day for them will oblige people to remember their parents and their relatives at least one day per year.

Since it’s a purely French holiday, I would lean towards the second solution; what do you think?

On another hand, today’s lunch was prepared not by my grandma (both of them are long gone now), but by my wonderful husband, and it was a delight. I will vote today to be celebrated as husband’s day, do you agree? 😀

See you tomorrow!
