About

I’m a newly-wed living in Beirut. While we were preparing for the wedding, my husband (Francois from now on) got the opportunity to come and work for a while in Roubaix, France.
I decided to come with him. How can I stay away from the guy I just married??

It’s been a while that I feel like writing a blog of my own, but I could not find the subject.

Now that I’m starting a new life, I thought it will be a good idea to share my thoughts and my experience with other people 🙂 Worst case (if nobody will read it), this blog will be like a diary for myself, that I would probably share with my kids (in case I have any) some day.

It sure feels weird writing to myself, I never had any diary or anything before; I don’t even have writing skills, so you’ll have to bare with me.

The experience might be really interesting…

  1. So how long have you been in France so far? What is different about it compared to Lebanon?

Do you enjoy living in the West?

    • On Saturday I will close my second month in here.
It’s not really that different from living in Lebanon, even though we’re based in the Middle East but the West is incorporated in our daily lives.

So far I’m enjoying my time, as long as I’m still living here temporarily; it’s a kind of long discovery period 🙂

Hi. I’ve just nominated your blog for the One Lovely Blog Award. I’m not sure if you participate in any of the blog awards, but I really enjoy reading your posts and wanted to share your site with others. See http://discoveranddevour.com/2012/06/13/one-lovely-blog-award/
